Find your current attendance percentage, check if you meet mandatory 75% university eligibility, and calculate exactly how many classes you can safely bunk or must attend to avoid detention.
Enter your total held classes and attended lectures to simulate your semester standing.
Tracking your attendance is crucial for high school and university students. Whether preparing for semester final examinations, maintaining an academic scholarship, or planning leaves, knowing the exact mathematics behind attendance percentage protects you from unwelcome shortages.
Your attendance percentage is calculated by dividing the total number of classes you attended by the total number of classes held, then multiplying by 100:
Example:
If your college has conducted 48 lectures this term and you were present for 38 lectures:
Attendance = (38 ÷ 48) × 100 = 79.16%
If your attendance is comfortably above 75%, how many upcoming classes can you skip in a row before falling below the 75% danger mark? Use the Bunk Formula:
Example: You have attended 45 out of 50 classes (current attendance = 90%):
45 ÷ 0.75 = 6060 - 50 = 1045 ÷ 60 = 75.0%.If your current attendance is below 75%, how many consecutive future classes must you attend without missing a single one to cross the 75% threshold?
Example: You have attended 25 out of 40 classes (current attendance = 25 ÷ 40 = 62.5%):
3 × 40 = 1204 × 25 = 100120 - 100 = 2045 ÷ 60 = 75.0%.Check out our other student productivity and calculation utilities:
